1. My whole family is off from work/school/etc. and we get to play together!
2. I usually get to go to the beach or swim in a pool!
3. I love fireworks and I get to see a free show from my own backyard!
4. The barbeque chicken is delicious!
5. The fresh watermelon is delicious-er!
6. I love to see American flags waving everywhere I look.
Mostly though, I love the Fourth of July because I get to celebrate the fact that I am grateful to live in this beautiful country where I can speak freely, get an excellent education, work for good pay, believe and practice my own religion, and much more! Happy Fourth!
The early weekend started with my family and friends going to the beach! There were too many people there for my liking, but hey, all I need is some sand and ocean and I am good.
Then, on the actual Fourth of July holiday, I spent some lovely time with Jessica and her family, and Ine! Yay!

We roasted marshmellows...
We (by we, I mean "I") avoided Molly...
Looks like lots of fun! I would avoid Molly too. That look on her face...
