Well, I flew to Provo this past weekend to say goodbye to one of my best friends, Sister Megan Lo. She has been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Brisbane, Australia Mission. She is entering the MTC July 29 and will serve for 18 months. I will miss her more than you can imagine.
Friday
I got to Provo around 1:00 pm Friday afternoon and was so happy to see my dear Megan and Angie who I missed terribly! We of course talked for a couple of hours to catch up and then decided to begin our festivities. The night included going to DI to shop for some "sister missionary attire" for Megan. Then we (Steve, Travis, and Alison joined in) went to Pizza Factory for some DELICIOUS food! Following the feast, we dropped in on the Men's Soccer Game, and then ended the night with The Illusionist and some other random fun.
Saturday
I began my day early by going to breakfast with another one of my closest friends, Ruth. Jordan, another great friend and Ruth's husband, joined us for some Mimi's! Mmmmm... I love spending time with these two; they are always so happy together and I love to see that! They then took me to see their new apartment at the Bavarian - soooo darling! Those two just make me smile!!
Even though this weekend was so wonderful and a much needed get away... I came to the conculsion that...
Goodbye's are never fun.
